Variable Data Publishing automates the creation of customised communications by merging a graphic rich page layout design with profiled user data. The page layout can include many different types of Media from Static Images, Personalised Images, Pre-formatted text and other Pre-created media snapshots, these assets can be stored in other systems and used to drive a content rich marketing piece.

Variable data printing enables the mass customisation of documents via digital print technology, as opposed to the 'mass-production' of a single document using offset lithography. Instead of producing 10,000 copies of a single document, delivering a single message to 10,000 customers, variable data printing could print 10,000 unique documents with a customised messages for each customer.
