With Pageflex Studio ID, you work entirely within InDesign. It pairs your graphic design with a data file to create variable documents. You use an additional Pageflex Studio ID palette within InDesign to create variables, business rules, Pageflex Action scripts (if you’re a power user), and print settings for each data run. You can produce JPEG, PDF, PostScript, or PPML (a variable data format) files.

Pageflex Studio ID stretches to match your capabilities and needs. It includes an easy-to-use business rule wizard for creating the if-then-else rules that will determine what content replaces each variable in your document. And power users can use the Pageflex Actions scripting tool to dynamically make complex changes to the document. Only Pageflex Studio ID gives you this much control over how your variable project is produced in InDesign.

Pageflex Studio ID turns your InDesign application into project central for your VDP campaigns. For instance, imagine that for a store grand opening event you may have invitation, ticket, and coupon design templates all in the same project. Each of these templates can draw data from the same customer list and use the same variable imagery and text to maintain consistency across the pieces. You simply create one set of variables, variable business rules, and content and then you can apply them to any design template in the project. Whether you use Pageflex Storefront today or simply want the option of providing web-to-print services in the future, Pageflex Studio ID makes it easy to prepare files for use in Pageflex Storefront any time. It will package all of your project files--including templates, images, fonts, variables, and job settings--for upload into the Pageflex Storefront web-to-print online catalog. Remote users then can submit variable content through web forms and by uploading data files to the online site. Your remote users could be sales people, franchise owners, customers, or consumers.
